AGASTACHE BLACK ADDER
Agastache Black Adder also known as Giant Hyssop is one of the hardiest in terms of its reliability as a perennial. This plant looks stunning planted among grasses and is equally as home in the cottage garden, gravel garden and in Mediterranean planting schemes.
The blue black flowers formed in dense spikes sit above fragrant foliage and darken towards September. Don’t dead head as they will create interest in the garden when it is most needed; the winter.
Plant in well drained soil (essential) and in full sun. Reaches an approx maximum height of 36 inches (90cm) and spreads approx 18 inches (45cm). Needs to be placed in a sheltered position.
